Owners of solar heated pools are extending their swimming season to up to 8 or 9 months a year, maximizing the investment in their swimming pool and their family's fun.

Using the pump which circulates pool water through the filter, water is automatically diverted by an Electronic Temperature Control (1) and a Motorized Valve (2) up to and through the Solar Collectors (3) where it is warmed by the sun. The warmed water then flows directly back into the pool. When the pool has reached the desired temperature, the water then by-passes the solar collectors and returns directly to the pool.

The required collector area to heat your pool is in direct relationship with the size of your pool, and depends on factors such as how long you wish to use your pool, the location, shading of the pool, wind, humidity, orientation and angle of the solar collectors, and whether the pool is screened in and/or a pool blanket is used.
